Celtek Kaya Glove - Women's

great quality with unusual materials

By Ranked #354 - Gloves December 5, 2010

I actually don't have this model but a similar one from last season that I got at a bigtime discount. the materials are really interesting and different -- it's hard to explain but the shiny plastic stuff is really exciting! and this stuff doesn't lose out on quality. I am not against the bigger sports companies doing cool stuff that is high tech, as I love my Nike snowboarding pants, but it is really important to have indpedenent rider-owned core stuff as well like Celtek--however, the core stuff has to be high quality and deliver the goods. otherwise it's a tokenism thing.
and celtek is really well made. i'm sure you might see a features list on here, and it's like how people bashed the mac when it came out because it cost a little more and less things than a windows machine. well it's not just about a list of features, right, after a certain point? celtek gloves have soul and it's somehow important because aside from your board and boots you are really dependent on your gloves on the mountain.
