From a visual standpoint these bindings are dope. The black/acid color combo looked downright punk on my artifact... Rome never disappoints in this category. The problem I ran into was with the sizing/adjustability. Instead of having three sizes, Small, Medium and Large like most manufacturers, Rome offers only two sizes S/M and L/XL, with frames that slide back and forth to adjust to sizes within a wide range. I tried both the S/M and the L/XL with my size 9 foot and could not get the bindings to conform to my boots properly on either. The S/M's were too small at max setting, and the L/XL's on the size 8-10 setting put my foot too far forward causing chop when carving heelside. Adjusting to 10-12 got rid of the chop, but left me with too much slack on my toe strap. I couldn't get them to stay on my toes.

Bottom line is that I want a simple binding that feels like it was custom made for my size foot and boots. This binding proves that with infinite adjustability you can have too much of a good thing. I went back to my trusted Burton Cartels which are lighter, cheaper and fit my Vans boots way better, even though I hate Burton, and continue to ride Rome boards.
