I have used these boots for over a hundred days and a couple of backcountry trips with snowshoes and they are still holding up. I have never had any problems with the focus boa system. Theres no way i am going back to the laces. The only bad thing i can say is that it takes a while for them to dry after getting wet. But it took them a minimum of 80 days to get wet when i was snowboarding. With some water resistant spray, they will hold even longer.
I give them 4 stars because its allways possible to be even better. Love them.
