I am a huge flannel fan. However a plain old flannel with a hood underneath dose not really cut it. I mean it's not 1990 anymore. This jacket is fully waterproof and I love the flip up collar shield for cold days on the lift. I was a bit skeptical of the hood but when I got this out of the box and saw the bonded fleece. My girlfriend walked by spilt some water and like magic the water just beaded off. Sold

Question: Is the hood a dark gray as shown in the picture? I purchased the same jacket in a dark jean material for my BF and when I received it I was greatly disappointed. It was so much lighter than the picture. The hood was supposed to look like this one however it was a light gray with no inside lining. Also it seems this jacket runs larger, considering getting a L instead of an XL. Thanks for your help!
