Volcom Legacy Pant - Women's

Good fit, poor performance

By Ranked #161 - Women's Snowboard Pants February 7, 2012

I bought these originally becuase they fit so well, unlike many other brands I tried on. They kind of fail on the hill though. I find that the zipper on the back of pants allows moisture to get though and attracts ice and snow build-up (it might be better if you had the matching coat to zip into the pants). Also, the snow gaitor at the bottom of the pants is so tight I almost can't get it over the top of my snowboard boots. Love the fit but they're snowpants...they should be waterproof!!

My wife and I both love our volcom pants and yes it does help to have the ziptech jacket that matches up. Here is the deal, NOTHING is actually waterproof unless you go buy some kayaking gear that is made to be submersed in water. Nothing snowboarding will be completely waterproof because we normally don't board in the rain unless you live in the Southeast. Don't sit on the snow too long or you will be wet in any brand of snow appearel if it's warm outside.
