I have been riding the internal BOA from K2 for almost ten years now and it is by far the best heel hold system out there. The inside lacing system is adjustable from the outside with BOA. Quick, easy, comfy and reliable, I have never had issues. I know people who have but I have never. But the new UFO comes with some new tech that really does work and has created a solid following after it's first season. The boot has a spine made of urethane that creates a smooth great flex that lasts twice as long as any other boot I have ever ridden. It has life from the beginning to the end. I had over 80 days on my boots and they felt like they did the day I got them. No more getting boots stiffer than you want and breaking them in to the desired flex halfway thru the season only to have them too soft by the end. This boot is amazing and will win you over if it fits your foot. Add in the Intuition heat moldable liner, vibram sole, harshmellow dampening and you have a great fitting, warm, true flex boot that gives you adjustability on the fly and support that lasts.
