Too Legit to Quit

By Dogfunk.com Employee November 7, 2012

I was able to take the 12/13 model out at the end of the season last year and I loved them. Fairly light (in comparison to previous models), comfy, and responsive. I had a pair of Cartels 5 years ago and the tall highbacks did not work for me. I love that the new Cartel highbacks are shorter. I love my Union Frankenbindings (Atlas baseplate and Contact Pro highback) but this year I went with the Cartels. I wear a men's 8.5 boot and I got a size M.

The word Cartel means, and I quote, "A coalition or cooperative arrangement between political parties to promote a mutual interest." Does this binding hold up to its name? Yes. This binding is both sweet and salty. This "mutual interest" a cartel is referring to is both met in the park as well as in the pow. Synonyms for the Burton Cartel include, - trust (a binding you can trust for performance and durability) - merger (merging steez, performance and wallet...hello!) Well done Burton.
