Very powerful, solid bindings! Just the right amount of stiffness to lock you into a reverse camber board, which is essential in a proper ride.
Offering all kinds of customization features, the Mob Boss saves you that 30 bucks off the 390 boss, simply because it doesn't have the autostrap feature!(Though it DOES come with two hype ass beer coozies) It kills the same in every other way. It was also lighter than the 390's too... Though the 390's may be stiffer, I can guarantee you it won't be by a lot!
The canting was SUPER noticeable, in both the base and hiback, and my power transfer was so off the hook it took me way longer to get used to a flexier board. The ankle strap was so cushy that I could actually feel it's softness through my boot. And the Conform Grip toe strap actually works very well, you can see it wrap around the toe if you choose to use it as a cap, or you can see it simply tighten if you strap it up over top!
In summary, I'm very satisfied with the level of performance from this binding. It's stiff, powerful, and offers you the maximum amount of customization for all your comfortable riding needs.
If this is a binding you're considering, I suggest you get it.
One thing I will say that's slightly problematic for me is that initially the toe strap comes up a bit short, not entirely crossing over the toe of my boot (Medium sized bindings, size 9 ThirtyTwo Boots). Easily alleviated by sliding the toe strap over by manipulating the locks on the strap side (Huzzah for customization!)
