Forces vs contacts

By Ranked #77 - Bindings January 21, 2013

FORCES.
The forces shred. I had been experimenting with different board setups and these bindings just made a DRAMATIC difference in my comfortability and performance on the slopes in alaska. I had been riding so union contacts( to soft and the ratchetes for the toe suck, they are also a narrow binding if your feet are at or over size 13. Too narrow...) which I liked. The were one hell of a step off rental and awesome for buttering and a controlled feeling of mobility on your board. But up on the steeps I wasn't very confident. I rode them 3 times and wanted something stiffer and wider.( the width issue was actually causing serious pain to the ball of my foot). I switched to forces and went to the slopes by myself to tune them for my style. I spent that day shredding down the black and double blacks so confident and so much more effortlessly. They stepped up my game without my skill increasing. The held the line no matter what when the contacts surely would not. The lateral mobility was still awesome making them feel like great potential for free style but park was closed so no input there.

So if you want to step up your game on advanced slopes and be way more confident to slam down the mountain head first. The bindings got your back.

So much better than contacts. Spend 20 more bucks on them.

To sum it up. They are the $H:T.
