They are on the stiffer side, but I can still butter and jib with ease. I actually prefer stiffer boots between the 5-7 range. They have reduced footprint so I can fit into my M/L union contact pro's with ease. I have size 11 boot and is reduced to size 10 on the outer sole. Good all around boot in my opinion.
