I came from a Burton Bullet 164, which is what I learned on and rode for 2 seasons, to this board in the 166. I am 6'5" 260 with size 15 feet and an intermediate all-mountain rider. I simply could not believe the difference this board made in my riding, it crushes everything in its path without so much as a bump felt by the rider, it turns effortlessly and wants to go fast while still being easy to control.
Beginners may catch a few edges on it, and I was initially concerned about this as an intermediate rider. But rest assured, it's a complete non-issue. The width of the board was also great for my over-sized feet. If you have any reservations at all about buying this board, forget about them and do it. You won't regret it.
