The Arctic Jacket is dialed for riding on most days. If it's snowing really hard, it's not waterproof enough to keep you dry, and if it's sunny and mild you'll sweat to death. The jacket is pretty heavy which is what you'd expect from an insulated jacket made for riding the resort. I wear a size medium in most Planet Earth and Volcom shirts, but a large in most jackets. I got this in a medium and it fits perfectly. The arm length is good and the wrist gaiters are the ideal length even though I'm 6'2" and have really long arms. The pitzips are dialedyou just wear a base layer under the jacket and when you start getting warm you open them up and cool off immediately, pit zips don't work that well if youre layering clothes instead or wearing an insulated jacket.
