After my first snowboarding trip, I had fractured my tailbone, but I was so anxious to go again that I had to get pads. I first tried these pads by Red and they were really bulky and hard, so I saw these and tried them. They were awesome! They're not bulky and they have a lot of cushion for your tailbone as well as your hips. The next time I went snowboarding, it was extremely icy and I took a lot of hard falls, but there were no bruises this time! These are a must have! I recommend getting them one size larger if you want to wear them over a base layer.
