I just bought these (size 10) with my new Lib-Tech Skate Banana (169) and Burton Triad bindings (medium) and the combo is SICK! I took it up to Hunter Mountain in the Catskills last week after 8in of freshies and the combo was sweet. The boots are super comfortable and the boa system is great and doesn't produce any pressure points. I was torn between this boot and the Cirro... but the Cirro is pretty expensive, and much stiffer. I rode the mountain all day and hit some of the boxes in the park with ease in these boots... pure comfort. Off to Squaw Valley in 6 days!
After using your Vans Encore for the past 2 years, would you still recommend these boots to anyone? Are there any downsides to have the BOA lacing system, or even a later model of the Encore?
