2% spandex

these jeans are very comfortable and great for skating because of the 2% spandex: it's stretchy, but because of this the jeans are a little flimsy feeling (thin) and doesn't feel as durable and thick as a 100% cotton jean. the color isn't as grey as an elephant's skin. the color of these jeans are "light" black

it depends what color your talking about, because i own the gray/blue, and they are indeed very grey.
