I use leather gloves almost exclusively now, they wear in better and are much warmer than other gloves I have tried. The one downside is they do tend to get wet ... But this new glove from Candy Grind solved that!! Comes with a weather-proof shell that stores in a pocket for additional protection from the elements when you need it.
