I am a freeride snowboarder and after a season of riding in Burton Ions which are one of the stiffest boots I have ever worn, I got these.
These fit me better than the Ions on the first try. Weirdest thing was the Ions I have are a size 8.5 and these are a size 9. I get slight heel lift in the Ion and none in these. I like the Boa better than the Freezone lace system.
1) Vans so called Cork insoles just like any other default insoles suck. It's not a full cork insole. I put Superfeet in them.
2) The huge Strap on the back on the boot. It really interferes with getting the boot strapped in.
I ride a Burton T6 with C60s and I also rode these on a Burton Custom with Custom Bindings and Rossignol One-Mag with Cuda V1 bindings.
DIdn't matter though. Overall, great fit, very comfy on my flat feet with the Superfeet and VERY responsive. My feet weren't tired at the end of the day like they were with the Ions.
