Ideal for Back, Slack and Resort Riding
- Gender: Male
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I have 3 boards--splitboard, deep pow/cat/heli board and one board to do everything else. The Jones Mountain Twin is that everything else board. I have ridden this board on deep days at Whistler, crowded groomers at Breck, backcountry off Loveland and Berthoud and even some time in Chamonix, Zermatt and St. Anton and regardless of location, terrain or condition, it has always performed exactly how I wanted it to.
Are there other boards I'd rather be strapped to for first chair on an 20" powder day? Of course. But in that case, would I want something else three hours later? Yup. And are there other boards that I'd rather have to hit the park? Um hum. But, for anyone who is trying to find that elusive "quiver of one" board and make slight adjustments to their riding style rather than their equipment as conditions change, in my opinion the Jones Mountain Twin is one of the best options out there.
