Not as mighty mighty as they claim to be

Bought these for my wife based on the advertised 200g of Thinsulate. Her hands always get cold when skiing, and I figured these mitts would do the trick. The trouble is that they aren't actually 200g mitts, they only have 100g (noted on the manufacturer's hang tags) and aren't well suited for really cold temperatures or someone with perpetually cold hands. In fact, her hands were frozen in these when the temp was about 15 degrees. Definitely not mighty mighty... She also said that the stitching around the thumb was so tight it cut off her circulation. I ordered a medium, which is her usual glove size. I tried a pair for myself in large and thought the same thing. If you want to go with these, size up.Personally, I would look elsewhere for a decent mitt.

Did you ever find a good pair? My wife has the same problem.

Hey John - she ended up going with the Dakine Camino mittens. I think they are discontinued now, but they must make something similar still. She likes them, the liners are much better and the mittens are way warmer.
