If you want something that is not skin tight but not baggy these are a perfect fit. They are just slim enough, but not leg hugging.

Are these more for just street or will these work well on the mountain?

I wear these all the time when I am snowboarding and have never had an issue. I just rode a foot of fresh at Loveland here in Colorado last week in these and I stayed dry all day.
