Unbeatable Boot

As far as I am concerned the Driver X is top notch. I have had mine for two years now and I have no complaints. They are actually more comfortable than most of my tennis shoes and I have no problems wearing them all day. I have also never had to worry about cold feet, even in -30 degree days. They maintain traction on any winter surface and are comfortable to hike in. If you've got big feet like me I would suggest getting a binding set that has toe caps, like the Burton Mission, built into the front strap to protect your toes and keep you from dragging. Amazing Boot! Would buy again without a second thought.

Responded on

Have also been riding on drivers ( before they had the "x") and were the best. THIS year however they changed the boot entirely and they are crap. the toe box is so big Burton toe straps barely fit them, the plastic they use on the back of the boot " powerstays or whatever they call them fold over during hard turns and feel terrible. also look at the liner. really look and compare. at 350 dollars they should have a top of the liner and footbed...they are not. after 18 years of riding burton boots/ products I am done. flash over function do me no good. buyer beware.
