These bindings are very light weight and mount extremely well especially to a burton board. The high backs weigh nothing and the flex of the carbon fiber freaks you out at first but after a few runs it creates a fantastic feel. I recommend putting your heel strap on the further back setting to pull you more back than down though, otherwise the toeside doesn't hold as well as it should.
