This basket, without the extention, is large by itself. I have a 04 4Runner, and it is just the added space was hoping for. My Fam and I are movin' down to the lower 48 this spring, and I was looking for the right gear to handle the job. It comes with a univeral bracket to fit any fac. style cross bars. If you are thinking about buying it and need an honest opinion, this thing is B.A!!!!!!!!
