when you say low do you mean cold or warm ahah like low numbers or low temps ? lol

They're warmer than just a shell pant as they have 60g (IIRC) of Thnisulate in them, but should be OK for a pretty wide range of temps for downhilling/resort riding/skiing if you're willing to forgo the base layer under them and use the vents if things start getting sweaty.

I think I'd probably still want at least a lightweight base layer under them when temps get down around 15F and below, and I usually run hot.

I imagine they might be a bit hot for spring touring though.
