great piece of gear will hold board with bindings attached plus lots of clothes or multiple boards
great construction and padding very ergnomic like you'd expect from burton
Good padding! Provides plenty of room for most sizes of boards. Can even fit some accessories. Would recommend stuffing some of those fleeces into it, especially when flying to provide extra support and protection. Even fits two pairs of skis if need be. Made of what seems to be highly durable material, as mine got dirty, but then came right clean after washing it. Highly Recommended.
I bought this bag for my boyfriend for his birthday. We are going to Denver in January and need a bag for our boards. This will easily fit both of our boards and his bindings, maybe even some the snow gear that we need to take too!
This bag is awesome, i was able to put all my gear (board boots gloves pants jacket goggles) into the Burton gig bag. it made it a lot easier to travel with. for the price its a great deal you can't go wrong with it .
I got the 156 for my board - fits perfectly AND has room for my boots, pants, helmet, gloves and everything else I need. Sufficiently padded to protect your board, if you want extra protection for your edges consider wrapping the board in something. Convenient handles and straps make it a breeze to carry. All in all, an awesome deal.
ordered the 166 bag for my 159 board, and it fits just a little longer than the board. but this is great because theres plenty of room for all my gear. i did wrap my board in a heavy mexican blanket when flying it home because my edges are freshly sharpened and were scraping the inside of the bag, plus i stuffed a lot of gear into the bag (enough for a week long trip plus all the boots and bindings i needed to board). the bag looks good, has enough padding, and fits plenty of gear. i would say it was worth the price.
I bought this bag specifically when I was going up to Whistler Blackcomb. I needed a cheap bag but one that would hold up on a international flight. The bag worked great I was able to fit my full board set-up along with boots, gear and tools. It did get pricey though to bring the 176cm with me on the trip, about two bills extra. Other than that good bag.
I just recently purchased this bag for myself after seeing it at a local shop. It is heavy duty and high quality, and is perfectly form fitted for my board. It fits my snowboard with bindings attached, my boots, plus has room for most of my gear (gloves, jacket, etc). I wish there also was an internal gear pocket (for security purposes), but the external pocket is huge! I love the Gig Bag and the price is great for a fully padded airline-friendly bag. I plan to purchase another for my husband's board.
I just headed down to British Columbia for the fluffy stuff, bought this bag before I came, and stacked two boards, bindings and all, boots, and (drumroll please) Every single one of my winter items. Thats, two pairs of gloves, snow pants, jacket, some fleece liners, three hats, and to top that all off a small shovel! The skate conversion straps made carrying that load a breeze as well. Great bag, and great deal!
I can fit my board, boots, jacket, pants, gloves and everything else in this bag and still have room left over. The colors are light enough that the airline baggage handlers got it a little dirty, but it still looks good and does exactly what I needed.
The Burton Gig Snowboard Bag is great. Has tons of space for your board, bindings, gloves, hats, goggles, pants, sweatshirts, coats, boots and more that fit like a glove. Great size for traveling in airports and cars. I recommend this bag for all boarders.
Great bag & comfortable to carry to carry. Room enough for a board and tons of clothes. Definitely a heavy duty bag traveled from NYC to Denver no scratches and durable!
The Burton Gig Bag was better than expected because it easily held my boots (and dirty laundry!) along with one board w/ bindings, and the material proved to be very durable as airline luggage. The lengthwise fit with one 156 cm board was tight (at first I didn't think it would fit). Color is Kryptonite Glamo, the best of a rather unremarkable selection (across all brands).
Very happy with this bag which i used to fly with. Plenty of space and tough enough to protect board although i did pad it up with clothes just in case. Certainly plenty of room for boots and bindings etc. Colour also very funky! thrilled with it :)
his bag is bad ass. plenty of pockets and some heavy duty zippers keep evrything locked in. there isnt a ton of padding but i think itll be enough for my trip to CO. when u order it get it bigger than ur board i did and its still alittle tight. not much else to say its made by burton so that should speak for itself.
These gig bags are awesome! Took em when we flew to Oregon...and they protected my boards like no other...I had my boots in there with the board and bindings...gloves and what not...Got my hubby one too...I totally recommend!!
I love these goggles. The first time I used them it was snowing and It was hard to see then I put these on and WOW!!!! a huge difference with visibility. I highly recommend these to everyone. Plus they look so cool too.
