Ultra light and simple, yet total durable and tough as nails. The single wall construction worried me until 4 of us stayed bone dry thru a night of heavy casacde rain. It is the biggest and lightest tent I have ever owned. What a dream! Why didn't someone build this tent sooner?

Here is a shovel that finally meets the demands of all winter enthusiasts. It is tough as hell and designed just right. No slip grips that work with mitts and a telescoping handle that fits out of the way. Finally someone got it right!!!!

Super good mitten, warmer then gloves, and more durable with the leather. The soft black back of the hand makes a great nose wipe. Nothing beats these mittens. A true work mitt with class and style.

I wanted performance, I got it! I wanted my ski to race, It does! I wanted to jib, just a little... The tip & tail have the snap and the power to drive the edge on the steeps while having the torsional rigidity to hold an edge on ice. ANd they are so light! It is like having feathers on my feet and each ski run is like taking flight. These skis bust the powder without any chop. They carve the slopes up when I push the big mountain ride. Never have I been so happy with one ski that can do it all. It is a pure Black Diamond design. A delight to surf in powder, but it was the fact that Atomic makes them for BD that sold me. High quality product with a 3 dimensional cap that drives my edges into the snow doing what I ask when I ask it. You don't need my review to know that these are the skis for every discipline, AT, Tele, Alpine it is all the same on these sticks. Thank You for building a better ski for someone like me, a woman who rips!!!!!

This has more of a seat, so the pull is focused on the hips instead of on the waist as with the DAKINE Pyro Waist Harness. Easier to resist the energy from the kite with hip action. Mirrors windsurfing form by having you sit/lean into the pull from the wind. comfortable for all day kiting.

The frenzy pulls my butt at high speed across hilly terrain and open slopes. I kite a 7.5 and a 10. (@ 175lbs) I like to ride when there is wind. I ski the BD Verdicts with Fritschi Freerides and Scarpa Lasers. I wear a Black Diamond climbing harness and use 1 carabiner to clip the kite in. Pure Flatland skiing thrills! Or get pulled up hill! Ride the wind, understand the earth!

this bag opens wide down the belly which made it easy to load my whole expedition into one bag. and the rollers have kept it simple for me allowing me to avoid the dreaded porter scam. No I just roll out to the curb and grab a cab no matter what city I am in. This is the big rig, built tough. Mine has been all around North and South AMerica with me for almost 5 years now. totally tough!!!

It is the light sweater fleece that is the ultimate compliment to the performance T-shirt I wear when I am out and about sweating it up like a crazy fool. This and any shell and I am good to go. I wish I had a dozen of them. On my budget I look for the most versatile, useful, dependable and reliable components for my layering system,...and I buy the best quality...This top is always in my layering system.

Long days on the dogs, and never have I found a shoe that I have been so into. I wear these clogs all the time! My feet hardly hurt after a long day of standing. The fit took a day because I am used to tight-fitting running shoes. I am a 10.5 and I bought a 10.5. Perfect fit. A little loose is just how you want them. The weight took a day to become normal, and the snap roll of the ankle keeps me from running in them, but otherwise they are the best work shoe I have ever owned. And they look great!

The soft silky appearance made it seem a bit of a fashion piece when I first got this jacket. And after wearing it out around town for a while I finally broke down and used it as a runners wind shell for a quick hike to the summit of one of the closer to town Wasatch peaks when I was caught with out my usual Scheoller shell. I was so impressed by its performance it immediately got bumped into my regular endurance line up. I started using it while biking and loved it! Now it is my fall running jacket! The incredible back vent! Love it! "soft" shell technology just keeps looking more and more attractive.

Very comfortable working shoe. I wear it all night waiting tables and never have any aches. Super traction for high action. I got them cause they were all black but they are more then just that.

A tight fitting sock that is supposed to help circulate your blood. After long hours...my calves were thankful for the extra support.

Merino wool feels like silk. Plus the padding in the heel. Excellent ski sock. Helps keep my heel fit in the boot. Perfect for logging hours in my ski boots.

The cure for cold feet in your sleep. Keep these with your sleeping kit and always have the warm toes during those cold nights in the bivy. Since they a synthetic I never have the sweaty foot blues. Down booties w/o the bulk or problems with feathers.

Cooommmmppppreesssionn! Plus an inflatable neck pillow, my iPod, and some dark eyewear. These babies keep my legs from cramping on those long voyages overseas. The only step up from this is that leg massage unit from.....?

iNCREDILBLE socks! Very very good! I now need less of a sock to do the job. No blister issues, super fast at drying. Sock technology is beyond any other garment. These guys know what they are doing when they make these socks! Thanks for making my world that much better. Less feet hassles for me!

I wasn't so sure when I recieved this as a gift, but after a short trip where this was all I had I am sold on its functions andfeatures as the best pack in its class. A built in backcountry seat that keeps my butt from getting wet. It carries my snowboard or skis, it has a bottle pocket that helps keep my juice from freezing and nice soft pockets to keep my sunglasses from getting scratched. I was suprised at how good this one is for every activity I do. And the easy access to my gear. It is just too good to be true. I even use this bag as the ultimate baby kit. Disguised as an adventourous family we are prepared for all emergencies, which is good cause other wise we might never get out of the house if I couldn't find a way to carry all that baby care stuuf on my back. These shorts literally saved my ass. A big drop that was telegraphed badly put my butt in direct line with a giant rock spike outcropping. In the moments of silence that I had as I sailed down through the air I paryed that I might escape un hurt from my immediate landing. Suddenly a smack that left a metal taste in my mouth. A bit dazed and stupified I stared at my skis, now off my feet in a mesh. One all broken from the hard impact. My leg was cramping from the charlie horse I recieved, but my but back and femur remained intact. No doubt due to the fact that I wore there pads. I also wear the kite skiing cause the wind can slam ya, but with this gear I can pusher harder with less fear. I know that I am protected and that kind of a confidence builder is hard to come by after decking out once or twice.

If you are going to carry a pack anyway it might as well have an avi-lung otherwise it is just dead weight on your back. This is the obvious package for all skiers. If you are getting out into the backcountry without this stuff then you are just plain negligant. Ski smart, keep the right tools with you at all times. Buy this set up and save your own life!

It is simple, when you are skiing the steeps you can't afford any mistakes, but if you do loose an edge this is the tool to keep yourself safe and alive. Climbing up the coulior or stopping a slide for life. There is no doubt that everyone should have at least one of these! I have two and they have saved my skin many times...from being sucked in by an avalanche I started or giving me access to the upper couliour that would have been too steep to climb w/o ice axes. Now I never ski without them and neither should u! The only other ski tool that could be more useful is the BD avilung.

The schoeller outer keeps the weather away. Very little wind passes thru, but without the silencing effect of a windstopper membrane. And the soft fleecey lining keeps my head from itching. The stretch panel lets the hat grow with my hair and stay snug around my ears. It is easy to wear up high or pulled down low, but most of all I like the lil tassle that you hardley notice as it jumps back and forth while you ski or run in the cold.

This down sweater is the newest piece in my clothing line up. It packs small and w/o the hood it is an excellent and easy to wear insulating layer. Super light, but super warm. Wearing this jacket made me remeber how much warmer down is then my old smelly synthetic jacket. Never again will I go without this jacket. more then a layering down sweater this jacket looks so good alone I find myself wearing it out on the town even when it is warm enough to go without.

The padded knuckles and super warm insulation make this glove an obvious choice for ice climbing. No more screaming barffies for me and never again will my knuckles be bruised from punching the ice out of fear. Black Diamond just keeps making their gloves better and better. You won't be sorry with these!

Can anything thing bad be said about a knicker? I don't think so. Especially a high performance one. Nice cut, athletic fitting,...no boot tops jammed up by excess ankle material causin' shin bang!

The anti balling up plates work like you'd never believe and they are as tough as the come. None of that whimpy rubber flimsy stuff that just disappears after a mile or two. The fit and performance of this ice tool is number 1! If you looking for the right teeth for your feet, then look no further. These will slay the icy headwall and walk the miles back to camp the long way. Climb harder with these on your feet then ever before because of the confidance you'll have in the toe placements. I have just gotten mine for this season and already I am swinging away at the mosters I previously feared. Slay those pillars with true teeth on your feet and never again worry about kicking extra hard. A simple swing from the knee will plant these babies as firmly as you'll ever need.

When all you want to do is keep your liner from getting your foot funk then this is the sock. Keep the boot liner clean by protecting you skin from the boot and the liner from your skin. High performance fabric that makes it a dream to ski like you were wearing nothing at all. Super sensitive feel. easier in an out of boots. Excellent for spring skiing!

I attached this to an extendable pole and set this up on my van to have a visual indicator for wind direction and strength. Always a plus in those LZ's or at the ride where having a sign for the strength and direction can be critical for a perfect touch down.
