These climbing shoes are great. They are advanced without feeling like those totally hardcore shoes where your arch is pulled into this uncomfortable "C" shape. I've worn them climbing in the gym and outside, and the sole is nice and grippy. |

I got these bindings and mounted them on a pair of fat Seth Pistols - they've been great. As far as touring, the free pivot is definitely rad - I've toured in regular G3 Roxy bindings with no pivot, and these are definitely a huge improvement. Also, the entire heel really does easily flip up to become a climbing bar - I'm not sure if that will cause more wear than if it were just a climbing wire, but I do know that trying to get the wires up and down on my old Roxy bindings while touring was really hard, took forever, and ended up being a real pain in the arse. So, big improvement there as well. I didn't get any snow build-up under the foot yet. Very secure when locked down. |

I've never ordered sunglasses off of the internet before (without trying them on in a store first), but I took a chance on these and they are perfect (for me, anyway). They are medium-sized as far as bigness - not totally Hollywood-huge, but not slim either. They have a great curve to them which protects your eyes from the sides, and the lens really does feel light even though it's glass (and the polarization is ridiculously clear). I have a fairly small head (for a girl) and the width is perfect - I was afraid to order big sunglasses because I thought they would just fall off, but the width on these is just right, and they don't slip down because they have built-in nose pads. I think they would be too tight for a lot of guy's heads, though. |

I ordered an XS (what I wear in prAna and most other tops) and it fits well - a slightly tighter fit than, say, the prAna bliss top, but that could also be because it's a different fabric. And speaking of the fabric, the inside of this shirt is super soft - feels fuzzy, but not omg-too-hot-for-summer fuzzy. The built-in bra feels secure - a bit of a uni-boob look, but perhaps that's because I'm between a 32 and 34 B. |

I like this bottle - I ordered the 0.7L and the size of the bottle is slightly bigger (taller) than a Sigg 1L bottle I have (because of the insulation of this Laken bottle). So, that was a surprise, but not a bad one - I got used to it, and I really love the bottle. The lining is great - I use Accelerade powder mix in this bottle and the water after a mix-use never tastes residue-y. Plus the texture on the outside is slightly bumpy so you can hold on to it. |

I wear this tank climbing - it's great because you can sweat in it and wear it a few times in a row due to the fact that it's merino wool so it doesn't get stinky. It's soft, and the built-in bra is supportive enough for me (34B) as far as climbing goes (not enough support for running, but climbing/hiking is ok). The yellow piping and straps are quite a bit brighter in real life than in these pictures, but it'll probably fade a bit. I gave it four stars because the built-in support isn't quite as supportive as some other tanks I have, but I still love the shirt. |

crazy traction

I got these snowshoes and went out hiking with a friend of mine, who was wearing some tube-frame snowshoes. He was slip-sliding backwards and sideways and all over the place, while I was just breezing right along. The blade-like frame on these is really incredible. Plus, they are really lightweight. |

This pack's shoulder straps and hip-belt are definitely some of the most comfortable I've come across. The springy-mesh action for the back panel looked pretty odd to me at first, but I quickly realized how great it is - hiking around in 100-degree heat without getting a full-on back sweat was great. The clip-close front pocket works well for stashing climbing shoes between routes, and front side pockets are great for snacks. The only things that really bother me are the hip-belt pockets - they stick out and bother my arms. No worries, though - a quick snip-snip and all is well. |

Cute, comfortable and warm...

This jacket is great. I ski in it - the pitzips work really well, the insulation keeps me warm, and the wrist gaiter keeps my wrists and hands comfy. This jacket also has an interior pocket with a sunglass-wipe attached, and another pocket with a cute little insulating sleeve for your mp3 player. Lots of rad little stuff, and a great overall look. The fit is really nice - it's not bulky, and the fur lining on the hood snaps off if you need extra peripheral vision. I also wear this jacket off the slopes - it's very versatile that way. |

I'm stoked on this jacket. The sweet things are: nice fit, sleek style, big hood - snow can be blowing sideways and you just pull up the hood and are in your own cozy world, the arms and torso are long enough even though I'm 5'6 and ordered an xs. The thing to be aware of is that this jacket's down is Super low profile (warm, but Definitely not anything like 500-fill down). I wouldn't mind if they had put a little bit more down in the jacket because I tend to get really cold in the winter, but I still love the jacket, and it is still warmer than my synthetic-insulated jacket. |

This top is super comfy - very smooth, not at all itchy. I got the xs, and it's a fitted cut, which is great for a lightweight layer. I can sweat in it at the climbing gym or tele skiing and keep it on for the rest of the night (as opposed to stinky synthetic that makes me want to change quite desperately the minute I start sweating). |

silky smooth
11-14-08 ![]() |
It's pretty much hard to believe that this hoody is merino wool - I have some other Icebreaker tops (heavier weight), and this one is by far the silky-smoothest. The xs is sort of a medium-fit for me (not slim, but not quite regular, and definitely not baggy). |

Yeah, I love these. I had some capilene underwear, but I got rid of them because synthetic stinks like a hellish hardbone, even after washing. These are great - they don't stink, they're super soft, and the xs was perfect for me - fitted, low-rise, and not saggy-butt like many underwear. |

mmm...thick
11-14-08 ![]() |
This is definitely thicker than Icebreakers Pace Top, which I also have (that one is lightweight where as this is midweight). The wool feeling is slightly more noticeable, but it doesn't feel itchy to me, and I think this top is great. I wear it as a skiing base layer or under a T-shirt - it's slim-fit, and the xs worked great for me. There is none of the stink after sweating, and it breathes noticeably better than synthetic base layers. Merino wool is pretty much the best for sweaty endeavors. |

simple and sweet

I've used this both for resort skiing and hiking in the summer, and it's great. When I'm hiking, I can fit my Cannon Rebel XT SLR camera and a lightweight rain jacket inside the main compartment, which really surprised me because it seems pretty small. For skiing, this pack is super compact and light. The best thing, though, is that you don't get the feeling that the shoulder straps are set too far apart (like in unisex/men's packs). The pack feels great on, and the shoulder straps are curved so they're not smooshing into the sides of your chest. Water has frozen in this pack in the winter, but you sort of have to expect that when the weather is super cold. |

Non-zipper-leggie
11-13-08 ![]() |
I never thought I would ever buy convertible pants (never been a fan of the mid-leg zipper look), but I really do like these. I think the fact that they are more like capris when you zip off the lower legs helps with the zipper-leg thing (the zipper hem is lower and less obvious when you have the full pant zipped together). I've climbed in them a bit - the material is just stretchy enough, and it's nice to have the bottoms to zip on when it gets chilly. They also have a nice "cargo" style, and the pockets in back and the low rise (on me, anyway) prevent the mom-butt look. |

merino love
11-13-08 ![]() |
Great top - I ordered the xs (5'6, 103lb) and it's perfect. A slim fit, but definitely room to move (not any of that spandexy, Saran-Wrappy feel). It's great for bouldering, hiking, and just hanging out. The merino wool is super soft (not itchy at all), and it really does not hold odors, which is basically a miracle after wearing polyester shirts that hang on to sweaty smells like it's nobody's business. I never use the side pocket, so I could definitely do without it, but it's fine - I still love the top. |

Blurr Donna Shorts
08-15-08 ![]() |
These are sweet shorts - they hit maybe one or two inches below my knees, and they can be rolled up to a little above the knees. I'm not sure I would ever wear them rolled up (the rolls are bulky and look a bit odd), but it's a nice option if you're wading in the ocean at low-tide, which I did - and they dried quickly at the beach. Although the fabric isn't super soft, it's durable which is what I was looking for (nylon). The size 4 was still a bit big on me, which is why I gave them a 4 rating (wish they had a smaller size in stock). |

I was previously wearing a harness (the Metolius Safe Tech Harness, actually) that made me feel like I was in thigh-tourniquet hell whenever I fell, hung, or belayed someone. I got the Hirundos on a friend's suggestion and I'm so stoked - despite the fact that the padding is minimal, it is unbelievably comfortable. Less bulk also means I'm less of a sweaty monkey on hot days. I'm a fairly small gal (5'6, 103lbs) and the XS was perfect, even though this is a men's harness. |

Sweet top - fitted, with a bit of stretch. I'm 5'5 and 103lbs and the XS was just right. Plus you can wear a bra underneath and not worry about your bra straps noodling around for everyone to see. |

I use these biners and 8mm runners for my slings, and they work really well. The keylock system is great - it's a real pain when non-keylock biners snag on the chains b/c you're going at it one-handed (your other hand is breaking on your rap device). Plus they do look rad. |

I really like these pants - they actually stay on my hips and they still have a baggy fit, which is what i was looking for (I'm fairly thin - 5'6 103lbs, and I got the xs). So far i have worn them while it's snowing and they stayed dry. The knee pads are OK - they seem to be set a bit high, though. The front pockets are lined with cozy fabric. yum. |

I bought this watch for my boyfriend for Christmas - he's totally stoked on it. It's super wide, and he likes the fact that you can actually tell the time, but it doesn't look like a sport watch either. |

I like the weight of this watch - it feels and looks very substantial. I will say the band width is not perfect, because I have a small wrist. You can take out links in the band, but I seem to be right in the middle of too tight and a bit loose. I really like the simple face, though, and I don't mind a looser fit, so I'm stoked. |
