build: tough suede with vulk sole; medium-padded tongue and quarter. fit: medium to wide. true length. feel: vulk sole provides good board-feel. medium padding is snug without being too bulky. look: sweet. these shoes combine classic Stan Smith look with the classic Samba color-way.

Fits slightly narrower in the toe area than standard half cabs, but looks sleeker. Excellent insole offers shock absorbency without compromising board-feel. Mesh, medium-padded tongue hugs nicely and not too bulky. All-suede upper gets a little hot, but tough as heck. I would love to see Vans incorporating more mesh/breathable material into their half cabs. Overall a great pair of skate shoes.
