List Description

This is a list of stuff that I'm using right now*. I spent high school learning how to land jumps the hard way - on east coast ice. College had me searching for pow and ignoring air and rails, but now I'm getting back to my roots! My main setup is the banana/nitrane right now, I generally bring that one and demo something else for variety.

The skate banana is a dream for getting back into the swing of things in the park. The magne-traction edges really handle the east coast pack/ice so well. Reverse camber is where it's at, almost feels like cheating. The Nitranes are so damn adjustable that after a few days tweaking they're perfect - on the mountain it's one strap and consistently snug. The angled padding on the bottom allowed me to have my first boarding weekend without a sore knee, I'm sold. Apparently both of these are prone to breaking, but Lib Tech and Ride are both fantastic about replacements. When you have a backup board and binding setup and good replacement policies, it's not as much of a problem.

* Snowboards on here other than the banana have gotten the seal of approval after a demo, gonna pick up one of them at some point this season.
