Description

Go wide.

Double-wide would be an adequate way to explain the Dragon APX Goggle. This goggle sports a lens so large that Dragon's engineers decided to let the lens completely overlap the edges of the goggle frame, and that means ultimate peripheral vision. And because winter often involves sweaty hikes and blinding bluebird days, the lens of this behemoth was finished with a fog-busting internal coating and 100% UV protection—it doesn't get any better.

  • Lens is crafted with injection-molded polycarbonate to make it highly resistant to impact and scratches
  • Super Anti-Fog lens design uses a moisture-repellent coating to keep sweaty vapors from building up on the inside of the lens
  • Uni-directional venting pulls cool air in through the top of the lens and through dual vents in the top of the goggle frame
  • Triple-layer face foam and a microfleece lining put a soft layer of padding between your face and the highly durable polyurethane frame
  • Numbered lenses installation system uses etched numbers on the frame that line up with numbers etched into the lens so you know exactly how to align the lens to get the fit right the first time
  • Hardcase included with goggle

I just received my goggles and they look sick from the outside but when you wear them you see to much foam and they don't give much peripheral vision compared to the EG2's ... i feel like i wasted money :( ... That will teach me not to buy online and not try on a pair at a store

Do these goggles fit anyone with any face size? I really love these goggles, but almost every goggle I have tried don't fit, since I'm young and don't like the goggles for kids (11) I really like these.

Hey Nick,

Some variants come with a bonus lens, some do not. The ones with an extra lens will actually name the two lens colors in the variant title. Unfortunately the only inventory we have right now just comes with the one lens.

Compared to my old Oakleys these things are amazing. I have such an insanely huge field of view. The blue lens has been great on the cloudy days and even the bluebird days. I have had no issues with them fogging up on really cold days like some people have had.

There is no extra lens on this specific model. The extra lens is specific to only a few models.

I'm pretty happy overall with the APX goggle. I bought the knight rider goggle, and the Eclipse lens is sick! The lenses are super easy to change off and on. The only thing I'm disappointed in is these really dont have any greater peripheral vision then other goggles on the market. I have the Dragon DX goggles also and I find the have greater side peripheral vision than the apx. The "frameless" lens creates the illusion that you are going to have this amazing peripheral vision. Still a great goggle, just that for how large they are, I'm disappointed that they weren't designed to be better then the rest of the market for peripheral vision

Hey I bought a pair of these and loved them. I was riding the pow on a chilly day and gave te lens a tap it split into two the color lens and a clear one. I let it dry off and warm up. The glue was still taky. But can tell it won't hold for long anyone had this happen to them with a good fix let me know. Brodyckay4200@gmail.com

Love, love, love these googles! Switched out for a clear lens but I fell in love with the rose! Good view, fits firmly, and no fog no fall! Totally recommend.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

They look amazing and they get a lot of attention, which is what I was going for, but they do have drawbacks.
The lens latches into the frame in a way that doesn't feel very secure, and isn't - it's liable to come undone, letting cold air into your goggle, which is bad if there is also moisture, because it will form ice on the inside of the lens.
Also the chrome on the outside is real susceptible to getting scratched up. You have to be pretty paranoid to keep these pristine for long.

Does the rasta/red ion come with the bonus lens like it does from dragon even though it is not listed? The rasta is priced the same as the rest that come with two lenses.........
