When Danny Davis and TJ Schiller spot their landings after three or four rotations over a huge table top, the Dragon Rogue Goggle ensures they see it and stick it. The optically correct lens gives your eyes the ability to see downhill so you can know whats ahead when youre spotting a landing in the park or mapping out a series of turns through a rock-studded chute.

Does the powder/ionized model pretty much have an amber lens? I'm going boarding saturday and looking for something to use on a low light (snowy) day. Thanks
The ionized lenses have a mirroring effect which makes them great for sunny days. They also will work fine on low light days, just not ideal. I would suggest going with the Rose lens if you want it just for the low light days specifically.
Dragon Packed these goggles with there Super Anti Fog Lens Triple Layer Foam (Never Cold, Super comfy) Durable Frame (Flexible, Forms to Face) and some more little ticks to help make a great goggle. I love that these have so much packed into a punch with out a super flashy goggle. there Shape is perfect for that Urban Jibber, or that guy who just wants to flow, Not the Park Rat Wanna bee.
It's the exact same goggle, just different colorway treatments. The Artist Series version (http://www.dogfunk.com/dragon-rogue-2012-ltd-artist-series-goggle?cmp_id=&rrType=ClickEV&rrProd=DRA0383) is also 'limited edition,' and thusly costs a little bit more.
Great looking goggle, super lens and incredible peripheral vision...but, mine had a poor glue job on the nose area of the face foam. The box also arrived unclosed. The goggles were bulging out, the bag on the bonus lens was already opened and the protective film was half peeled back. QC needs a little work.
...however, they worked great on the mtn. The "jet" version ($159) comes with a bonus yellow/blue mirrored lens for low light that worked great in heavily snowing/cold conditions. The vision was HD and they didn't fog at all. The red ion mirror (other included lens) was perfect in bright sunny/bluebird conditions. The mirroring on the red lens is super opaque, so no one can see your eyes.
For those who complain about the "halo" effect created by the ion mirror, don't worry about it. Seems to me that halo actually increases snow definition, so if you aren't staring at your hand all day, you won't even notice the halo when actually riding.
These are sweet goggles. They have good peripheral, soft farm and nice lens But they dont fit that good. I was storm chasing and rode in 12 degree weather with very dry snow. Every time the wind blew the snow would enter through the nose bridge in the frame. They fog up and didnt vent moisture out. Maybe i have a small nose bridge that allowed the snow to enter but i never had this problem with any other goggles. To prevent this problem i had to sag the goggles down to where the bottom of the goggle frame was touching my nostril. If you got a big nose these would be for you. I really like these googles wish they fit my face.
I've used these goggles for the past 2 seasons and I can say I've been completely satisfied with the quality. I own the TJ Shiller version, which has really cool graphics, and the lens on it has never had a fogging issue. They fit well while you have a helmet on and they fit a pretty normal sized face extremely well. I can't really find anything negative to say, so I'll just add that they are a great buy at this price range.
After wearing these goggles for a few seasons now, I can say with confidence I won't bother with anything else. They are the only gog that leaves NO gaps against my face. Only slightly fog when I'm working hard, and clear up in seconds. They fit my helmet seamlessly. I have three different lens tints, but really, could get away with just the gold ionized lens. Love love love.
