Dragon Rogue Goggle - 2010

When Danny Davis and TJ Schiller spot their landings after three or four rotations over a huge table top, the Dragon Rogue Goggle ensures they see it and stick it. The optically correct, ionized lens gives your eyes the ability to see downhill so you can know what’s ahead when you’re spotting a landing in the park or mapping out a series of turns through a rock-studded chute.

  • 100 percent UV protection guards your eyes from the burning sun
  • A vented, Super Anti-Fog lens provides clarity in the changing weather and as you hustle in and out of the tram
  • Triple-layer face foam and a micro fleece lining comfortably press against your sun- and wind-burned face
  • Adjustable hinges let you get a comfortable fit while changing headwear between each lap
  • The two-inch replaceable strap stretches over helmets, beanies, and beer cases

Bottom Line: See and destroy.

Does this goggle's lens completely mirror (meaning if i looked at the lens i would see my reflection instead of seeing through the lens?)

It depends on the lenses you're using. The Ionized and Red Ionized are the most mirrored I've seen. (You can still see your eyes but you'd have to be really close and really looking) No for the pink, blue, or amber. The rest I don't know.

For a completely mirrored lens, look into Oakley's fire iridium and Electric's Bronze-Red Chrome/Bronze-Gold Chrome

Excellent fitting goggles and extremely comfortable. The goggles have a very sleek look .They don't go up too high on the forehead or drop lower than the cheek bone. It's a true medium fitting goggle. Another solid snow gear from Dragon.

They are smaller than the Anon Hawkeyes. The lenses on the Hawkeyes are taller.

I ride with the Rogues in Liq.Tang/Red with the ionized lens and haven't regretted them except for little occasions with wind seeping in the sides. Of course the air flow was only a problem when it was extra cold air, it was refreshing a few weeks ago in the warmer weather. Aside from that, the lens is clear in a wide range of light during the day (wouldn't recommend these at night).

Dig 'em.

I have a pair of Dragon Rouges, and love how they fit well with multiple brands of helmets. They are a medium-large frame and fit most every face.

Yes the Ionized lens does have a mirror to it to help cut glare but it is not completely reflective and people will be able to see your eyes.

Nice

Got the tangerine/red ionized 4 or 5 days ago. Goggles look awesome, better in real life than the pictures show. Got to use them for two days this weekend in temps 20 to 35 fahrenheit, second day they were blowing snow. Goggles fit good, have about a medium size face. Red lenses look good during the day, add good definition, and although I havent used them at night I think they would by ok if the trails are well lit, otherwise you might want a yellow lense. Only time they fogged was when I pulled my bandana way up on my nose, and I more or less just did that to see if they would, but I dont know of any goggles that wouldnt fog from that. If you are considering the goggles buy them, you wont regret it.

Seriously the e.g.2.5 lense is much bigger. Full view when wearing them all tho the rogues are very stezzy and come in proper colors. You decide mate

I just used them on a very overcast day and they were great. I havent gotten the chance to use them at night but I think that if the trails you are riding are well lit you will be ok, if they are not so well lit id go with what leslie said and get yellow or clears.

Dragon recommends the Red Ionized lens for bright sunny conditions. It has a VLT of 20-25%. It is designed to cut glare and add definition. This would not be a good night lens option. I would look for a lens that is Yellow or Clear for the best performance in night riding.

Ionized is mostly for anti-sun glare, they will work at night but if you do a lot of night riding I'd say go for a clear pink lens.
