Drake DTM Snowboard Binding - 2009

The Drake DTM Snowboard Binding is ideal for riders who pack an insane amount of tricks into one session. The no-lean highback lets you tweak and twist from feature-to-feature and the soft flexing, lightweight aluminum and nylon baseplate means you can ride right through your work schedule.

  • Delta LT Xlite Baseplate is lighter than ever with shock-absorbing EVA padding added under the baseplate for extra cushion
  • Aluminum heelcup and composite baseplate are combined to create a responsive yet lightweight platform
  • Dimension 3 ankle strap offers an added flex adapter and extra cushion on the sides of the synthetic leather bound, pre-curved EVA
  • DRS 2 Toe strap can be worn over the top or wrapped over the toe

Bottom Line: DTM stands for Damn-the-man in your vocabulary.

Yea man just like Eastcoastrider said, go for Union. They are suuuper responsive and incredibly durable. I have a pair of '10 Contacts and I couldnt be happier with them. Style, comfort, AND durability... Union all the way

if you got a skate banana you need a pair of union forces or contacts. all union bindings are bombproof and are the lightest out there. They are built to last

Yep - any boot as long it is the right size for the binding and matches the flex you need. Best option is Northwave boots - since Drake bindings and Northwave are sort of a consortium... =)

You can wear any boot with any binding, there is no set system, the only thing you really have to worry about when riding, is 1. Will your binding work with the board. Boards and Bindings dont have to be, but you want to be the same style riding. for example. you dont want a flexible board with a really stiff binding, and vice versa. Also, make sure ur boots are compatable with the set-up as well. Boots also have stiffness for other styles of riding. Mostly any boot will fit any binding, you just want to worry if its the same style riding or not.

I rode drake bindings (Supersport) for about 5 years. They're kind of old-school set up, so they'll accommodate probably any boot that you buy. The only thing you need to make sure is that you get the right size binding for the boot.
