Drake Reload Snowboard Binding - 2010

Bindings weighing you down? Not able to get that press, poke, or spin dialed because the binding you ride tweaks your foot instead of tweaking with it? Slip into the Drake Reload Snowboard Binding and you'll quickly notice that it gives you that extra little bit of movement you've been looking for.

  • Delta Light baseplate is Drake's lightest which features the Rebound (EVA foam) in the heel instead of composite material
  • Light Frame highback eliminates weight to let you go bigger without sacrificing support and comfort when it's time to get nasty
  • Contact pad between the binding and board offers added shock absorption
  • Hyperlight slim, contoured ankle strap provides ideal flex for freestyle freakiness all over the hill
  • Newly redesigned Hyperflex toe strap utilizes a split design to wrap over and under your boot toe for ideal freestyle response and less weight
  • Mac 4 aluminum ratchets are light, easy-to-crank, and dependable

Bottom Line: Cock your head, pull the trigger, and slay the mountain ... then do it over and over again.

Hey,

Not out of the box but with a universal disk or a 3hole straight from Drake, yeah.

New Life to an old board

By:
February 8, 2012

Added these puppies to my 6 year old Burton Custom 162. 1st thing I notices was the weight loss and amazing contact to the board. The comfy straps and foam foot bed are so plush.

The temperature just dropped from 0 to -11c the conditions were icy and harsh.

The stability was greatly improved from my old cartels. Edge control at crazy high speed was incredible. The old board would have washed out on me before. I also notices the elevation allowed me to lean out a little more on my heal edge.

I was going to buy a new board, but now think I will hold off another year because all of the reasons I was looking at a new board seem to have been solved. BONUS is that Burton is replacing my old 7 year old Cartles because the base plate cracked. Will Drake do the same in 7 years? Some how I don't think so.

Hey,

The photo is pretty accurate, yes. They don't look "dark" to me though, definitely a lighter blue.
