For these goggles are the Bronze/ Silver chrome lenses see through or are they completely mirrored?
I would describe the bronze/silver chrome lenses as a clean window, completely mirrored at certain angles but head on you can see through them.
Sickest goggles ever
I just got these goggles and used them right when they came, and they are by far the best goggles i've ever owned.
first off, they're sick as hell. the peripherals are amazing, and the anti fog lens is amazing. I ride mostly park, and through the woods so i take quite a few branches to the face, and the goggles. I had 5 or 6 huge scratches on the lens, took out the case and rubbed the scratches and they came right off, and my lens looks good as new.
these things are the best hands down.

Wondering if these would fit around a medium Giro Seam helmet...?
Yes, the band will stretch around any helmet.
sweet but flawed
so no matter what, these goggles are the BUSINESS. sight is of no concern, no fogging, and comfort is like a velvet couch! not to mention they are HUGE! i have the moonscapes with a bronze/gold chrome lens and the only setback is that the chrome layer over the lens is like butter. i litterally scratched them with my fingernail as easy as scratching a scratcher lottery ticket. not that it was on purpose, but really??? scratches are not warrantied, and there is NO PLACE to get a replacement lens in the same color/chrome! lame.

I have the Giro Encore 2 helmet and I was wondering if these would be compatible. Right now, I have the Von Zipper Feenom's and they fit pretty good with my helmet, but I know the EG2's are a lot bigger so...
Thanks for anyone who answers :)
I've used both of those goggles before, with and without helmets. Bern helmets to be specific, I imagine Giro would work just fine as well. The EG2 does a great job of sitting flush across the top of the goggle, nests just under the helmet, no gaps.
SAG YOUR GOGGLES!
you can cover like your whole face with these bad boys
stuntin the white ones

how do these things fit with a hi-fi? i wear my beanie instead of the earpieces with the helmet, and i was thinking about getting these or the .5s goggles, which fit better, or are they both good?
i'd much rather get the EG2's because they're sick, but i don't want them to not fit
the eg2's are BIG goggles. they fit a medium to a large face. they're perfect for fitting onto helmets. i suggest getting eg2's because i don't ride with a helmet, but i'm gonna get them as well.
EG2's in black
Gloss black w/ orange lens. Great for flat/low light and night time. Zero reflection in this lens though.. :(
bought these goggles at the beginning of the season early november, and they have worked great, they never fog, there big so you have a ton of vision compared to anything else out there, the ONLY problem ive had is that the goggles dont fit that well around the nose so you always feel a lil breeze , ive talked to alot of people that bought these too and they say the same exact thing, so unless you have a bigass birdbeak nose, these might not fit the way you'd like,ALSO when wearing these gogs' you'll notice your friends checkn them selves out in the lens soo be prepared to be a community mirror!.

when will there be lenses in stock? is there some where i can buy them i need one soon
Sorry, the extra lenses have sold out and are out of stock. I don't expect to see any more until next season.

For these goggles, which is their best lens for super flat light? I am having trouble convincing a few of my friends, so some outsider help would be very beneficial.
I special ordered a yellow lens w/ just a titch of chrome on the outside from Electric. It's superb in flat light and I even use it for night. Works great because it appears very chrome looking in but for the wearer, it illuminates the dark conditions rather well.

I've never used a better goggle. Me and my brother both ordered some, and they have the best peripheral vision out of any other goggle. The blue chrome don't mirror well, but the silver-chrome does.
Worth the ~$150.. Careful with helmet gape though.
Looking to buy these goggles, they...
Looking to buy these goggles, they look awesome. Have a couple of questions, though. Hope some of you have some answers. :-)
I've tried the Oakely Splice, but they're too small and is too narrow for me when it comes to field of vision. Are the EG2 much bigger? Comparable to the POC Lobes, maybe?
I'm gonna have two (maybe three) lenses that cover all conditions. Any suggestions? What lenses should I go with for flat light/overcast/partly cloudy/snow? Which Oakley lens is the EG2 Bronze lens comparable to, and does it work well with the conditions mentioned above? Or should I go for something else?
Guess I'm going with the Bronze Red or Gold Chrome for sunny days. They look smashing! What's your preferred lens choosing from these two? Anyone out there who could upload a pic of the Bronze Red Chrome?
Finally; I want the plain white frame. Love the clean look of it!
Hope you guys can help me out here! Would be greatly appreciated. :-)
In comparison, the EG2s are a world bigger than the Splices. Its bigger in virtually every aspect. Not sure on lenses, but the Gold Chrome that it comes with is decent for everything, although a little dark for night. No experience with their other lenses though
The goggles are amazing, I did a side by side comparison with the Splices, and they are much smaller.
I have the processes, and the lenses are nice. Blue chrome fits almost every type of condition I've tried yet.
If you're looking for mirrored, get gold-chrome.
These are probably the best goggles ive ever had, I got the Andreas Wiig Pro models. They are SO BIG and you can see everything. IF you put any other goggle on they usually limit your vision a lot looking down and side to side but these don't at all.
I would recommend that you look into compatible helmets before buying them though, they fit really well over a hat but if you want a helmet make sure they will fit first.
I would have given theses a 5 out of 5 but I have a few complaints. If you get The Andreas Wiig model, Moonscape, or the C.E.S models, the Electric Logo on the strap is raised so it can be annoying to fit under or over a helmet. Thankfully i finally found a helmet that does fit with them, The Salomon Patrol Ace.(I have heard the Giro Shiv, Smith Holt, and Giro Revolver also work well with these.) It comes with a hat to wear under it so i recommend wearing a hat with the goggles over it and then the helmet.
While these CAN be worn with a helmet it is difficult to do, and the straps are much smaller than most goggles, they can stretch to fit over a helmet but it is much easier to have them under.
If you are looking for a great goggle that won't fog up, limit your field of vision, make you look like the gangster you think you are, and fit over your favorite Neff hat, theses are the goggles for you. IF you want a goggle that will fit over your helmet that you've had for 4 seasons and don't really care how it looks, i wouldn't recommend them.
These goggles have not given me any issues after i found a helmet to fit with them, i sometimes wear them with just a hat and they fit great. They come with a huge bandana in the box along with a lifetime warranty and one sticker.
Overall: Solid goggles for someone with a big face and some extra cash to spend.
Got the Andreas Wiig model, love the pattern and the colors. I really like that most models have an asymmetric design.
As everyone says, the field of vision is great. I notice it in the peripheral a lot, where it's most important, but you get a lot more visibility looking up as well. It doesn't seem like you've got some big bushy eyebrows blocking your view like you get with some other goggles.
I wear a Bern Baker 'hard hat' helmet in size L, and it's a tight fit where the top corners of the goggles meet the helmet, but they fit. I've found that the 'hard hat' versions of the Baker fit a lot lower than the regular EPS foam ones. So I would speculate that an EPS helmet in any size will fit, but I might be wary in a hard hat version in a size smaller than a large. They smooshed my nose when I first put the on, but I moved the strap from running near the top of my helmet to down near the bottom. That redistributed the pressure, and they fit much better now.
So far they've held up well for me, and I've done a few cartwheels this season. I'm a little worried about how far the lens sticks out, but it's not that big of a deal. The field of vision makes it worth it.
I love my EG.2 but i hate the lens is there...
