Electric EG2.5 Goggle - 2011

See and stick the landing once you block the burning white light of the snow with the Electric EG2.5 Goggle, which fits smaller faces but still includes all the features of the famous EG2. The oversized dual spherical lens allows an incredible field of vision despite the smaller size of the ergonomic frame, while the triple-layer face foam smoothly hugs your face.

  • The 100% UV-blocking polycarbonate lens includes coatings to prevent fogging, scratching, and blinding glare
  • Spherical lens shape matches your eyeballs to reduce distortion while riding
  • Dual lens means that a layer of dead air helps prevent condensation and fogging of the inner lens, while top vents expel body vapors before fogging occurs
  • Mold-injected thermo-plastic urethane frame flexes to your face shape and doesn't snap after righteous face-plants
  • A 40mm elastic strap adjusts to your head, hat, or helmet
  • Includes a microfiber goggle bag for safe and scratch-free storage

Bottom Line: With all the features of the EG2 in a goggle that fits your smaller face size.

Overpriced

By:
January 23, 2012

I agree with the other reviews that these goggles are nice, but I'm very disappointed with how easy they scratch. I take very good care of all my equipment, and I've only used these goggles 4 times and they already have scratches on them. I snowboard in all types of terrain (trees, park, groomers, etc.), and I feel that goggles this expensive should have more of a scratch resistant lens. You're definitely not paying for all quality, you're paying for a brand.

FITS WITH A BERN HELMET

By:
December 28, 2011

finally a spherical goggle that fits with a bern visor helmet! i have the women's bern muse audio helmet and i swear these were made for it. something other then the scott I O/S goggles have come along and brought great fit, WAY better styling and a slightly smaller size! i have tried the smith I O/S goggles and these are way better.... the amount you can see peripherally is just AWESOME. phenomenal clarity and depth perception EVEN when in flat light flying over some rollers and kickers. snap them up before they are all gone!

I've been riding this goggle for 2 years now and LOVE it. Very comfortable, never fogs even in the gnarliest conditions, and the range of vision is unbeatable. Stoked.

Definitely! The vertical access of the EG2.5 is 20% smaller then the EG2. Making it much more helmet friendly.

i bought 2: black and white

By:
September 29, 2012

i bought a black/chrome pair for me and a white/chrome pair for my girl. they fit her a lil bit better than they fit me. i know there's another size as i've tried it on but you get the one that's a lil more rounded and my face needs the one that's a lil wider/flatter. it's nothing i can't handle though. this is a great deal on these goggles, you can't get 'em this cheap anywhere. i'm confident they'll do their job once we hit the slopes...

Love my new goggles

By:
January 8, 2012

Love these goggles so much. I got the Cheryl Maas version and they are pretty awesome, love the colors and design. Good peripheral vision, and the lens works well in a variety of light from bright to flat. Also, absolutely no fogging whatsoever. They fit well with my Smith Hustle helmet.

I'm giving them 5 stars but I do have a couple of nitpicky complaints. I think they might let in a little too much air, as I found my eyes tearing up a couple of times when going fast. It wasn't anything too extreme but I do I have a pair of Smith Anthems that have a vent you can open and close and when it's closed I don't get any tearing up. My other nitpick is that I wish the Blue Chrome lens was a bit more mirrored and not so see-through. It's not too bad though, definitely has a bit of mirror, I would just prefer more. Looks like the Red Chrome is pretty mirrored though so maybe I'll get a replacement lens.

I'm not ashamed to say that I bought them for the looks, but they did actually deliver on performance too.

Awesome

These goggles are dope...SUPER comfy with or without a helmet. Havent fogged up once since I got them and have great peripheral vision. The bronze lenses with chrome were perfect for all types of conditions. Only gripe is the anti-scratch coating could be better. I got nicked by a safety bar at on a lift at breck and have a nice little scuff in the mirrored coating. Nothing too noticeable but annoying cause it was the first day I got them. Buy em...You know you want to!

The colors are sweet. Fit a little bit narrow but the wide lens makes up for it. Definitely for a smaller head.
