Description

No excuses.

Unless you have way better connections than we do, you probably don't control the weather. And, since different weather means different visibility conditions and different lenses, you don't want to be the guy bitching about how your your goggles are messing your shred. The Electric EG2.5 Lenses give you the versatility you need to see what you need to see. Just switch their lenses out if the weather changes. Plus, the anti-fog and anti-scratch coating keeps your goggles clear.

which type of lens are the most reflective?

Responded on

Any of the lenses that have a Chrome tint (ex: Silver Chrome) will have a reflective mirror to them. However, if you are looking for the lens that lets in the least amount of light overall, that would be the Grey Polarized lens with a VLT of 15%.

why sell the lens but not the goggle?

uhh, why sell the lens but not the goggle? ...different lenses for different conditions. it's smart to own both a bright conditions lens and a flat light conditions lens for one pair of goggles.

Are all these lenses as clear as they look? which ones are more mirrored?

The Silver Chrome options are going to be the most mirrored lenses. Here is a breakdown of how each lens performs in this lineup:

Clear = 82% VLT = Filters the least amount of light = Best for night conditions

Yellow Silver Chrome = 67% VLT = Filters blue light for increased contrast = Best for flat light, snowy, or night riding

Orange Silver Chrome = 66% VLT = Enhances contrast & depth = Best for partly cloudy to snowy conditions

Blue = 66% VLT = Filters white light for increased contrast = Best for flat light, cloudy, or snowy conditions

Rose Silver Chrome = 30% VLT = Filters blue light for increased contrast = Best for flat light, cloudy, or snowy conditions

Grey Polarized = 15% VLT = Reduces glare & doesn't distort colored light = Best for bright sunny days

i was lucky enough to grab a clear chrome lens (more expensive than the regular clear lens) for my eg2's while they were still available... complements my silver chrome lens really well. i use the clear chrome lens (clear but still mirrored) for flat light and the silver chrome lens (very mirrored) for bluebird days. if you can find a clear chrome lens, i'd recommend that.
