Skinny, but stretch

Got these for the bf ... but they were a little skinnier than desired. The 4-way stretch makes them totally wearable with plenty of movement, however they were too skinny-jean-esque for personal preferences. Do love the slate color.

Unlike most boardshorts, but like Billabong (which owns Element), these shorts run true to size. (I.e., I wear 33 pants, 32 in most boardshorts, but 33 in these.) I've never been into baggy shorts, so maybe I'm not the right person to ask, but I don't think they're that skinny. I'd suggest trying a size larger.

Nice $ Way Stretch Denim Style Shorts

I like these a lot. The 4 way stretch allows great freedom of movement. In addition, they seem to fit true to size. Good option if you want the cut off jean look, but also want performance. I will post a picture of the length, as well.

I guess it depends on your height. They're about 3" above my knee. I see what Rich means about the denim look, but that wasn't really my first impression. Maybe chambray, but mostly they look vintage--both in terms of the cut and the color.
