Emerica Romero 2 Skate Shoe - Men's - 2010
If you don't like a thick, bulky shoe cramping your skate-style, then you're like Leo Romero and should rock his signature Emerica Men's Romero 2 Skate Shoe. A double-wrap sole adds more support and durability than other vulcanized styles, so you know the Romero 2 has the power to dish out misty- and tre-flips on the street for as long as you can keep stomping. Of course, you have to call it a day eventually, which is cool because the Romero 2 wraps style around your foot (in addition to feel, grip, and support) when it's time to head out for the night.
Bottom Line: Leo.

I agree with the original comment. It has taken me awhile to break them in, but they are still a bit awkward. I love Emerica though my last pair of last a full year.

I disagree. The Wino has virtually no sole, strictly a chill seeker. It can not be compared to a skate shoe by any means. And the Laced is a cupsole. Two VERY different shoes.
I think the Romero 2 couldn't be any better. You get all the benefits your average low profile vans, but with a longer last suede upper. The shape of the toe box on these is perfect for skating. And let's not forget to mention Sole Tech's earth friendly glue that's used in the construction of their shoes. Do mother nature a favor and put your feet in these instead of something else. You won't be disappointed.
Change me.
