Slim, grippy and mean.
Team skater Ed Templeton designed his new pro model—the Emerica Transists Skate Shoe—to fit super slim, feel super light, and give you lots of board feel. Slip on these things and it’s like having suction cups on your feet. The all-synthetic uppers keep things safe for all the vegans out there, the double-layered ollie area adds durability, and a thin padded tongue feels comfortable. Emerica threw in its STI Foam Level 1 footbed for lots of cushioning and constructed the Transists with a natural rubber cupsole—so don’t be fooled by the vulcanized-looking design.

The Transist line is good! I gots some templeton shoes last year and they're nice. Nice tacky bottoms. I Agree, not much support. Good casual wear and longboarding. I use for tricks too though. Will thrash quick with heavy use. Good for those that want an animal friendly alternative.
They're not even close to as comfortable as the average emerica shoe. The sole is very hard and takes a long time to break in, and the shoes themselves are very thin.
They look really cool though.
