Flow NX2-AT Snowboard Binding - 2012
The Flow NX2-AT Binding allows for the same simplified reclining entry that made the AT famous among all-mountain riders seeking an easy-to-use and high-performance binding?only now it has now been updated to trigger the movement of the NASTY strap. More like a cyborg than a plain ol' 'hybrid' the NX2-AT's strap automatically opens up when the Modback folds down to make it easier than ever to get in and out of the binding; if you're more into side-entry functionality, the Locking Slap Ratchets allow for that as well.
- Modback highback features two-piece construction with a lightweight and super-strong heelcup portion and a tweakable nylon upper backed with the cushioning power of the KushControl EVA pad
- NASTY (Active Strap Technology) creates more room for entering the binding by lifting and expanding the straps automatically when the Modback highback reclines
- Rockered baseplate is engineered to allow the board flex without interruption by minimizing the overall contact area and placing a rockered shape on the corners to eliminate underfoot dead spots
- 2.5 degree canted BankBed encourages anatomical alignment developed to alleviate pressure from wider stances and ducked angles; an adjustable toe ramp extends to prevent toe drag
- I-FUSION one-piece PowerStrap provides an encompassing fit with set-it-and-forget-it functionality
- LSR buckles (Locking Slap Ratchets) provide lockable, lightweight, and outstanding micro-adjustability with the option to be used for side-entry or rear-entry closure
- Aluminum offset multi-disk allows for 5mm toe and heel offset adjustability and can be used for mounting on most hole pattern including 4-hole, 3-hole, and Channel boards with M6 hardware

These bindings are sick. Although make sure the heal of your boot is rounded more than its squared out. I used to always ride D.C. which work fine with flows. I have Thirty Twos now and they like stop the binding from raising easy because of its more squared designed heal

They will for sure. Technically any binding will, you just need the right disc. These happen to come with that.

Couldn't wait to get these. I'm a big Flow supporter and the NASTY function of the new models lured me in. However, I quicky found a defect in the newer models upon setting them up. The basplate comes off so you can put in your mounting disc (obviously). Problem is, under the screw you remove is a very thin, clear plastic. Upon tightening the screw after mounting the binding, I hear a "CRACK." WTF? I was so pi$$ed. So I stand up and strap in and I hear another "CRACK." Snapped again in another spot of the underside of the baseplate pad! Cannot believe Flow used aluminum in the base itself, around the sides and back, and even made the mounting disc of metal, yet somehow think that in the frigid cold with all of your weight bearing down on it while jumping, carving, or whatever, that somehow that little bit of plastic wouldn't crack. Ended up sending these back as well as the Primas we had just ordered for my wife. Very disappointed.

Also, forgot to mention...the new ratchets are awesome. If only they gave you FOUR of them. The interior buckles are the cheaper ones that you just open and then manually slide up the strap. Obviously you don't have to use these as much, but still, for the price point I expected more
Would the burton ruler snowboard boots size 12 fit into a large
Would the burton ruler snowboard boots size 12 fit into a large NXT AT binding? I read somewhere that the burton ruler boots in size 12 have the footprint of a size 11. Or would I need an XL binding? Cheers

I have 2009 Burton Ions in a size 10.5 which has the shink fit or what ever burton is calling it now and these fit snug in the heel cup of the size Large NX2-AT binding. At the toe on the sides of the boot there is a bit of space, which from what i've learned is standard to flow bindings (Narrow at the heel and wider at the toe).

I love flow bindings and these are the best. I haven't had any issues with them and they work very well with my morrow board.

2 days with these and both of my kids MUCH prefer these over last years AT-SE models. The ratchets are much superior and the movement of the binding when opening it really makes it possible to make them tight and leave them in place. The kids like that you can also use them as strap ins if they want. All around, it's a true winner and a huge upgrade. The quality of the materials seems far superior. The only issue was when it got really cold. My ratchets didnt perform well, but neither did anything else including my fingers. I would say it was single digits, so we didnt last long out there anyway.

They actually release much smoother than older models. It feels like it has a magnetic closure. Very smooth release.
