Description

Lock and load in less time.

Are you looking for your first pair of bindings? Or maybe you need a reliable binding with a freestyle flex that won't break the bank? The soft flex, comfy feel, and easy entry and exit of the Flow Quattro-SE Snowboard Binding make it an easy choice for beginners and dedicated shredders on a budget alike.

The Hybrid PowerCap Strap still has Flow's signature rear-entry system to make getting in and out of your bindings quick and convenient, but also features a toe cap for riders who like the feel of a traditional binding strap. The H-Series baseplate is rockered so that it makes minimal contact with your board, allowing better board flex and feel without sacrificing response. A forgiving flex on the UniBack highback makes turn initiation easy and allows you to tweak tricks in the park. EVA on the highback and footbed cushion impacts and reduce vibrations for a smooth, comfy ride.

Not as good as I hoped

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

First the good...These bindings hold you tight. When they are tightened down you feel like the board is part of you. Excellent response. Great control. There is a bit of a gap on each side of my boots but this does not seem to cause any issues at all.

Now the not so good...I got these bindings to speed up the strapping in process. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to get your foot in far enough to raise the back and lock it in place. I have to loosen the straps to get it closed. This defeats the purpose of the rear-entry binding.

From a strictly aesthetic point of view, the green bindings look sick on my LibTech SkunkApes HP.

I confess, I'm a flow partisan, but I've found it takes five or six days to get them dialed in the way you like them. Alot of people ride them a day or two and then pass judgement, and they do feel different from regular bindings. Once you get used to them, it's really hard to go back to strap-ins. When I see my friends sitting on the snow cranking their bindings, I just feel sad. If you like to hike, Flows are incomparable. Give it some time, man.
