Flux DS45 - Distortion Snowboard Binding - 2010

You have always liked the idea of Vietnamese-Mexican hamburger joints, because you hate to limit yourself when it comes to eats. It makes even less sense to lock yourself into a binding that can’t cover the whole mountain, which is why Flux created the DS45 Distortion Snowboard Binding. The flexible urethane F-Tech asym highback provides both support for the steeps and extreme tweakability for the park; on top of that, the Distortion's backs can be swapped out for maximum freeride or freestyle performance, depending on your craving. A full menu of customization options ensures that you can have the DS45 your way.

  • Lightweight, ergonomic Genetic base is thinner on the inside than the outside for a more responsive feel
  • Urethane dampeners under the base plate absorb impact; dampeners come in two different densities so you can customize to suit your style of riding or board
  • EVA anti-vibration pad in highback eliminates slippage in the heelcup for extra responsiveness
  • Ultra-responsive Absolute Fit ankle strap fits any boot without pressure points, gaps, or pinching
  • New ratchet pivot system allows the ankle strap to be positioned three different ways to customize your level of support
  • FTM Versa toe strap conforms to any boot shape, and can be worn either around the toe box or across the top of the toes
  • Tool-less adjustment of highback position, forward lean, strap position, and strap length lets you easily dial in your fit
  • UU Fit delivers a 360-degree fit for better comfort and support without pinching or pressure points

Bottom Line: Made just for you, or so it will seem.

I've been riding flux for the last three seasons. One of the most comfortable yet responsive bindings I've ever had.
Once strapped in, you can't feel the chunky straps, no pressure points at all. Very responsive and adjustable for a comfy ride.
