Description

The Flux Women's GM binding is at home on every aspect of the mountain.

Trends come and go. In fact, in the past five years you may have seen an '80s revival two, maybe three times. The Flux Women's GM Snowboard Binding doesn't care what era you choose to rep in your outward appearance because it features the technology to keep your feet progressing into the future. With a women's-specific medium flex, the GM is poised to conquer the mountain from park to backcountry and everywhere in between.

The GM starts with Flux' nylon Vogue baseplate. This fiberglass-reinforced nylon baseplate features urethane damping. The EVA footbed absorbs shock, and adjustable heel- and toe-ramps allow you to customize the binding's fit and feel. Tool-less hardware makes on-hill adjustments a snap. The lightweight, responsive Women's Ultima highback provides a seamless fit and women-specific flex pattern for a more natural feel. The lower highback accommodates a woman's calf muscle, which is positioned lower on the leg than a man's. Forward lean is adjusted at the forward contact points for a gapless fit in the heelcup at any adjustment. The F-Tech 3D-molded, cushioned ankle strap works with the highback to provide a perfect 360-degree wrap to eliminate hot spots and pressure points. The FTM monocoque toe straps use a one-piece design for maintenance-free riding.

My friend has flux bindings that flex like...

My friend has flux bindings that flex like mad on the heel back. The GMs I'm looking say they are a medium flex. I'm not sure exactly what flex/stiffness I want. I like to jib and do 180's but I love deep powder and riding between trees. Also, my burton toe cap straps always slide down and aren't holding my toes in. Would that happen with these bindings since they are toe caps too. I've trine shortening my straps and cranking them down, but they always slide down

Hey Caycie,
Sounds like your riding style is more in the medium range. They will be forgiving enough to jib with but responsive enough to ride in the trees. As far as the toe cap goes, I have had the same issue with certain pairs of Burton's. It's always a risk when going with that type of strap, however I haven't heard of that happening with Flux.
