Description

Street dreams are made of these.

If your idea of a great day of snowboarding involves setting up a drop-in, shoveling a lip, and sessioning a rail for hours under cover of darkness, then the Forum Contract Snowboard was made for you. Bad Ass construction features a beefed-up core, edges, and fiberglass so it can handle all the abuse you can throw at it, all without adding weight or sacrificing flex. Forum also threw in a two-year warranty just to prove how seriously they stand behind the bomber construction of the Contract.

  • Pop Camber has a reduced camber height and increased surface area just outside the bindings for more pop and better presses
  • Bad Ass Glass is 20% stronger than other types of fiberglass so it can withstand life on the streets
  • Bad Ass Beveled Edges are pre-filed and extra-beefy to endure the abuse of hitting rails
  • Bad Ass Core is meant to take a beating on the streets with beefed-up sections underfoot for durability where you need it
  • True Twin shape for dialing in switch tricks
  • 0-60 Base is designed for maximum acceleration from the drop-in to the rail and is tough enough to resist damage from stairs, rails, and ledges

BEST SNOWBOARD I'VE FOUND SO FAR

This board is extremely poppy, the factory beveled edge is nice an loose on a rail, the car takes a beating, and the thing just won't die. I have put this board through so much shit. It finally took a ding in Killington when I clipped a rail. The nose has a bite out of it but it's still kicking. Just paid to have it fixed the right way. R.I.P. FORUM SNOWBOARDS

decent board if you want soft camber

wanted to a get a soft board to improve at buttering. this board is certainly soft and has great pop as well on both nose and tail. however, ive always ridden rockers / rocker hybrid boards, and the camber shape was too catchy for my taste. the stability and control attached to the camber edge is nice, but didnt like the fact that it is so difficult to flat base right before a feature at the park. gets catchy really quick when you flat base, so unless you really know what youre doing, you might want something looser.

i would recommend a lib tech skate banana for someone trying to progress at freestyle. it is even easier to press / butter and much more loose when flat on the snow. you can try a lot more things without catching edges. only downside is it doesnt have as much pop as this board, but thats a tradeoff i can live with.

BWAHHHHHH!!!!!

SOOO MUCH POP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BWAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH:)
But seriously though, for a small board (152) it handles anything I throw at it. I crave speed, but I also crave that perfect pop, so it suits me nicely. Backcountry powder is a different story. But hey, its whatever yo.

I know this board is pretty soft as a 3, but will it be able to handle jumps too?

Responded on

The positive camber will help that out for sure. I'd say it will be great for small and medium jumps and ever some bigger ones - that has a lot to do with someone's jumping ability too. If you plan on hitting huge jumps you may want to look into something a little stiffer for stability.

ATTENTION

This board will give you all the attention in the streets to fit your needs. One of the best boards to give you that all around pop, if that rail you're hitting is a bit too high. Exactly how it says in the description up there for the pop surface outside your binders will give you that UUUMMMMMFFFFF!

Pork Chop!

Forum realized that not everybody could afford to take their only board into the streets and risk ripping it apart on the concrete. Their answer was simple, make it strong then stand behind it with a 2-year warranty. Combined with pop camber to reduce the overall length, the added surface area between the bindings and the over flex rating of a 3 equals a more confident press meaning stomping bolts when it counts! Oh yeah, lets not forget, they also added 0-to-60 base so you can make the most of that short in-run you created.

it says this board is a 3 on the flex scale...

it says this board is a 3 on the flex scale im 5'9" 125lbs is the 150cm going to feel like a two by four? or will it still be good?

Responded on

A flex rating of 3 is pretty soft. I think you'll be able to press and butter easily.
