You may ask yourself; 'Wow, did that fart really propel me this high off the lip of that kicker?' The answer is no. But we understand how the pop of Forum's Combo Platter profile in the Holy Moly Snowboard can easily be mistaken as a methane-boost from your ass. Raised edges at the binding mount areas as well as the tip and tail make your board less likely to catch the lip and landing of a big booter.
Combo Platter profile combines camber and raised edges (like rocker) for the ideal blend of flex, pop, and forgiveness for all-mountain freestyle
Really light core is also Forum's strongest to let you fly higher
Swingers Club technology reduces the amount of material in the tip and tail to lower swing-weight
Buttercup design raises the tip & tail contact points off the snow for a catch-free ride
Booter Boosters are carbon stringers run from the binding mounts to the tip & tail for added pop and stable landings
Light Triax w/ Carbon laminate adds spring and durability
Really Fast base has pre-injected wax in the pores of the sintered material to keep you sliding faster, longer
Bottom Line: 'Holy Moly' is actually pronounced ho-lee shh-ii-iit.
So this board is got tons of pop... For being a 5 on the scale of flex. I think its wrong, more like an 8.. I couldn't really get into this board. I couldn't press on it. It is really light & fast, just couldn't carve with it, it felt weird. So overall this board just wasn't for me. It maybe be for you, but not for me. That is why i'm giving it 4 stars, cuz I can't hate on it. Hope this helps.

If you had a choice to get the Holy Moly, Youngblood Chillydog, or Destroyer Chillydog, which one would you choose? Seems like they are all the same board plus or minus certain features/tech. I'm 5'10 & 155-160lbs. I normally ride in groomers but I'd like to become more proficient at freestyle riding (nosepresses, tail press switches, and butters.) Any advice is appreciated!Any one else?
And if you think this is the best bet, what size do you recommend? I wear a size 8 boot and flow NXT bidings. I'm currently riding a 156 Burton T7 and i feel that it is too stiff and long for my liking.
I back the Holy Moly 100%. It is my go to board, I'm 6' 170 and run the 155 unless I'm riding 2 feet deep pow. The board is soft enough in the nose and tail to press and the carbon stringers give you the snap you need to get out of them. It rides loose like a reverse camber deck does but it responds like a snowboard should.
if ur looking for some playfulness and the ability to nose press pretty easy look into the youngblood chillydog which can also handle jumps up to 40 ft and also the forum scallywag is a great board which is a little softer than the youngblood, it is also playful. both are sick boards hope i helped man
Forum's Holy Moly is my most favorite board I've ever ridden. This board is what a Hy-brid should be. Forum has made a camber board with all the forgiveness of a reverse camber shape.
The Holy Moly uses a new technology we call "Combo Platter" which raises the edge of the board underfoot 2 mm off of the snow. This gives the rider a loose forgiving feel, but the camber of the board keeps the deck snappy and responsive when you need it.
The Holy Moly has the lightest and fastest core Forum makes, We have also place "Booter Boosters" in the the tip and tail, these are carbon stingers running from the end inserts to the contact points. This board is a mazing, you will be so stoked.
ive been ridiing the 07 -08 youngblood 153 for the past 2 seasons and loved it, i was able to hit the powder when we had it, fly down groomed runs as fast as i possibly could, and hit the park all day. i really like this board mainly because the waist width, but the only thing that is stopping me is all the new technology and how you described it as a very LOOSE board. will this board not be as stable at high speeds or hitting the powder as my youngblood? thanks
I just want to start out by saying that I really like this board. I have the size 155 in blue. I got an amazing deal on it on ebay so I bought it. But after I bought it I was afraid I may have bought a crapstick due to a lot of sketchy reviews I read about it on different sites. I was kind of left hoping for the best but I'm actually really happy I got it.I went snowboarding for the first time last month using a bunch of borrowed gear, I wasn't sure what to expect but I picked it up pretty quickly. I did fall a bunch but I managed to spend most of my day on blues. I was using an old burton custom (size 152) from almost 10 years ago, with old bindings and old boots. I loved it so much that I invested in my own gear.I was kinda thinking it would help too because I'm 5'9" and I weigh 165 lbs so the board I was using was too small for me, and I could tell. It would get really squirrely and chattery at higher speeds and it never really felt stable. So like I said, I found this board for dirt cheap on ebay, couldn't miss out on the deal, but ended up being nervous. I used it this past weekendwith size 11.5 burton ruler boots and pair of burton cartels, and this thing was awesome. So many sites I went on had reviews saying this thing was a death trap, or that it was no fun to ride. I remember one site even mentioning that this wasn't a beginners board, and that its only for experienced riders that want a board to take off big kickers, but I really like it, and although I think that I picked up snowboarding a lot better than some people do, I am by no means a seasoned boarder. But that's just my 2 cents. I'm super comfortable on this thing, maybe it's just that I was using a board that wasn't properly sized for me the first time around. But don't get it twisted, there is a little bit of skepticism about this board on some reviews sites, it scared me into thinking I made a bad purchase, but I couldn't be happier. This thing is nice.
If it is going to be your jib board, then yeah it should be ok. It has carbon throughout the deck, so you'll have the snap you need. You will be stoked, I love this deck
