Forum HoneyPot Snowboard - 2012

Perhaps they were re-thinking conventional wisdom or perhaps they were just on something and deprived of sleep, but the magicians at Forum's woodshop made the experimental Forum Honeypot Snowboard come to life and the results are phenomenal. Pop without carbon, triax fiberglass that's not overbearing, and  Super Buttercup twin shape that is just as comfortable in the steep and deep as it is on man-made features make the Honeypot a truly exceptional deck.

  • New Flat rocker profile with Super Buttercup shaping provides a stable zone from tip to tail with dished up zones around the contact points for catch-free turn initiation
  • Spine of Power places a full-length wood stringer through the center of the board for uninterrupted power and longitudinal snap that is so effective, the Honeypot was able to forgo the inclusion of carbon additives altogether
  • Foot Steer triax fiberglass laminate delivers what its name implies: mind-reading control while flexing around the board's central axis for ultimate torsional maneuverability
  • Gnar core made of high-quality vertically laminated aspen is not only lightweight, but exceptionally strong and responsive
  • Freebase base compound is a speedy and sturdy extruded base built to destroy without getting destroyed

Bottom Line: Nothing about it is normal.

Love the size options! I am 5'10" 168 lbs and with the waist width at 251mm i don't have worry about my toes or heal overhanging on the 151.5 option. Small boards in the park are super necessary and with the stable and predictable feel of the flat rocker my confidence is through the roof! Don't even get me started on the BUTTER SCOOPS! The geniuses at Forum lifted the contact points on the sides of the nose and tail to eliminate any unnecessary edge grab. Now while im spinning around on or off the snow i can do so with mind set of not catching my edge.
