Description

Power-packed.

After laying out for the security deposit on an apartment and a mattress to furnish it, you don’t have a lot of cash left over for equipment, and you won’t see a paycheck until the third week the resort is open. But hark! Here comes the Forum Men’s Antenna Snowboard Boot to the rescue, sporting a host of comfort features and, if you dare to believe it, Speed Zone lacing. And you won’t pay the price later for your early season cash flow problems thanks to the Forever Fit construction, which prevents boot pack-out so you can enjoy the same support on day hundred as you do on day one.
  • Level 3 liner incorporates an FGel pod in the heel for softer landings
  • Footpillow footbed provides cushioning and arch support for all-day freedom from foot pain
  • Good Vibes outsole features a multi-pod construction that enhances your board feel; F-Gel inserts dampen vibration
  • Gold Cuff Link internal lacing locks your heel down in the pocket for no lift
  • In Slick lining lets your foot slide in easily for minimal morning hassle

these or burton rulers?

Both are great boots, The kicker has a gel pad in the liner to minimize heel bruising. It is really comfortable and a bit softer than the Ruler.

I don't have a place in my town to try these boots on. I have been doing a lot of reading on boot fitment, I have read that boots will pack out 1/4 to 3/4 of a size and you should buy up to 1 size smaller to compensate for this. does anyone else do this?

Responded on

Na, Forum boots are size to the average foot. Get your shoe size and you should be all good. Unless you run your shoes big. Just go to any shoe spot and measure you foot then get that size.

I think that the description is for the Antenna boot?

Responded on

The top? Na, the Antenna boot is a has a level 1 liner and an origin sole. Both boots are great, It just depends on how much support you like. The Antenna is really soft, and the Kicker has more support.

What heel lift?

This liner retention system will blow your mind, not your ankles.

FGel throughout the heel of the liner

Forum Kicker, Freakin' rad!

F-Gel will change your life. Forum's level 3 liner with FJ in the heel is what makes this boot stand out among other boots in this price range lengths behind the Kicker. Forum gives this a flex of 6/10 and it definitely stays a 6 all season long. They feel broken in right out of the box but don't become sogmasters. The inner lacing system prevents the liner from lifting away from the shell but definitely feels synonymous and even.

Reduced footprint keeps the boot true to size but has less bulk, inside of the boot stays the same.

Speedzone is improved yet again and doesn't fail.

Hiking? get these, the traction and stiffness.

Kicker

The Forum Kicker has been a team favorite for the last couple years. Improved speedlace system for 2010, upgraded liner to a level 3 with added Fgel cushioning.

The kicker sole is one of the best, it has multiple sections that mold and move with your feet. Every time after I ride I can see the indentations on the EVA deck of my bindings.

Forum has also implemented "forever fit" into all mens boots. This means that each size is made on a 1 size smaller outsole. For example the 9 is built on an 8 outsole. Less toe drag is a great thing. No body like or wants toe drag. Boots are able to fit in to smaller bindings, less weight is something well can all appreciate.

Run the Kicker if you want a great flexing, durable boot.
