Too stiff at ankle can't get foot in boot.

The structure of the speed lacing creates an inflexible stiffness at the ankle. My daughter could not even get her foot into the boot, because there is no flex to the tongue of the liner, even though the boots were a full size larger than her everyday footwear.

they're supposed to be stiff so you dont fly outa them when your riding right?

The lacing system is really easy to use once you figure it out and very comfortable. Each handle controls either the lower section or the upper section. Put your foot in, tighten the interior lace section first. Then grab each handle, pull up toward you then when you get it to the tightness you prefer then pull back to lock them into place.

The Mist

The Forum Mist is the only boot at $140 retail with a duel speedzone lace system. Super easy to use and very comfortable. The mist is soft a comfortable. It is a great boot for beginners and those who want really soft comfortable boots.

The liner is integrated into the sole of the boot, so you don't have to worry about pulling the liner out when you take your boot off. The mist comes is good mellow colors that will match any kit. Try them out for sure.
