Forum Recon Snowboard Binding - Men's - 2009

Someone at Forum must have messed up, because at this price the Men’s Recon Snowboard Binding is a steal. With a living hinge highback, real wrap EVA padding and an adjustable toe ramp, the Recon Binding is responsive and balanced. Rotate the highback to keep it out of your way for tweaks and presses, or customize it for popping spins off your heelside edge, landing hard, and slashing pow. Forum’s Living Hinge technology ensures that no matter how far forward or back you set your highback there are no gaps or pressure points, just precise alignment and pure comfort.

  • Bubble ankle strap with puffy padding for precise response and cushy comfort
  • Half Cap toe strap forms to your toe whether you wear it on top of your boot or in front
  • Real Wrap EVA highback padding prevents calf burn and helps dampen your ride
  • For ‘Em Multidisk interfaces with any binding insert in the business, even the Channel

Bottom Line: Pro-level tech at a shop rat price.

I just got a Forum Manual set up with these recon bindings for X-mas.
I'm worried, cus the bindings dont have a reinforcement around the back.
Also a chewed my Ride Agenda back into the wood from which it came.
Any possibilty of the Forum standing up better.
I am really worried about the bindings, I trashed 2 pairs of Ride Lx's last season.
Can these hold out?

The binding will hold up, unless you broke the base plate of the ride bindings? If you are a crazy park rider and are in the habit of breaking bindings, you should get on a pair of the republics or the Shakas. They have yet to break with me. Don't stress about the recons. I think they will do great.

If you are looking for a super soft binding cause you are just starting out or if you like to keep it loose in the park these are your bindings. The for-em multidisk makes these compatible with any board on the market today. Super soft, super fun, great binding. The flexing heel-cup offers a true flex to match the angle of your boot whatever boot you may have. Try it out.

These bindings will definitely match. Check out the Forum Kicker boot, it's also this sweet green color.

I picked up a pair of Forum Liens and they didn't have the disc to interface with Burton boards shipped with, but I called Forum directly and with no questions asked they ship the discs for free and even ask what color you want. Win win my friend, plus great customer service.
